La explosi\u00f3n de la primera estrella empuj\u00f3 a su compa\u00f1era a trav\u00e9s del espacio, y luego, tras viajar durante miles de a\u00f1os, esta estrella superviviente tambi\u00e9n explot\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n la ha realizado un equipo integrado, entre otros, por Miltiadis Michailidis, de la Universidad de Stanford en California, Estados Unidos, y Marianne Lemoine-Goumard, de la Universidad de Burdeos en Francia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sobre la base de 16 a\u00f1os de datos del telescopio espacial Fermi de rayos gamma de la NASA, el nuevo an\u00e1lisis revel\u00f3 rayos gamma asociados a un remanente de supernova que permanec\u00eda oculto bajo el resplandor de su vecino. Este vecino, IC 443, tambi\u00e9n conocido como la Nebulosa de la Medusa, es uno de los remanentes de supernova emisores de rayos gamma m\u00e1s brillantes conocidos.<\/p>\n<div class=\"google-auto-placed ap_container\"><ins class=\"adsbygoogle adsbygoogle-noablate\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5663005764905852\" data-adsbygoogle-status=\"done\" data-ad-status=\"unfill-optimized\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"aswift_2_host\">\n<div class=\"google-aiuf\" data-google-ad-efd=\"true\">\n<div class=\"goog-rentries\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/ins><\/div>\n<p>Hay tantas conexiones entre ambos remanentes que los autores del estudio han llegado a la conclusi\u00f3n de que la \u00fanica explicaci\u00f3n plausible es que corresponden a estrellas hermanas que conformaron un sistema binario.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El remanente m\u00e1s tenue de supernova se llama G189.6+3.3. Es visible principalmente en rayos X.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Los dos conjuntos de restos estelares, ambos ubicados en la constelaci\u00f3n de G\u00e9minis, parecen superponerse parcialmente en rayos X.
