{"id":112922,"date":"2022-01-18T11:22:42","date_gmt":"2022-01-18T15:22:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/potenciaradiofonicadominicana.com\/portal\/?p=112922"},"modified":"2022-01-18T11:22:42","modified_gmt":"2022-01-18T15:22:42","slug":"cribado-molecular-y-cancer-de-mama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/potenciaradiofonicadominicana.com\/portal\/cribado-molecular-y-cancer-de-mama\/","title":{"rendered":"Cribado molecular y c\u00e1ncer de mama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/potenciaradiofonicadominicana.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/5036_cribado-molecular-y-cancer-de-mama.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-112923\" src=\"https:\/\/potenciaradiofonicadominicana.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/5036_cribado-molecular-y-cancer-de-mama.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"670\" height=\"434\" srcset=\"https:\/\/potenciaradiofonicadominicana.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/5036_cribado-molecular-y-cancer-de-mama.jpg 670w, https:\/\/potenciaradiofonicadominicana.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/5036_cribado-molecular-y-cancer-de-mama-300x194.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Un estudio ha permitido identificar una mutaci\u00f3n com\u00fan en pacientes de c\u00e1ncer de mama y seleccionar para algunas de las afectadas un tratamiento espec\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La finalidad de este estudio piloto, denominado AGATA (SOLTI-1301), y publicado en la revista acad\u00e9mica Frontiers in Oncology, ha sido evaluar si la implementaci\u00f3n del cribado molecular en un entorno cl\u00ednico cotidiano es factible y si las pacientes pueden beneficiarse un tratamiento dirigido, en caso de detectarse alguna mutaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En este estudio han participado 260 pacientes con c\u00e1ncer de mama avanzado de toda Espa\u00f1a. Despu\u00e9s de realizarles el cribado molecular, se identific\u00f3 que un 63% de estas pacientes ten\u00edan alguna mutaci\u00f3n conocida y en el 50% de los casos el comit\u00e9 de expertos pudo realizar una recomendaci\u00f3n de tratamiento bas\u00e1ndose en los resultados obtenidos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, un 11% de estas pacientes se han beneficiado de un tratamiento dirigido, la mayor\u00eda de ellas a trav\u00e9s de un ensayo cl\u00ednico. De entre los casos en los que no se pudo personalizar el tratamiento destacan, principalmente, aquellos en los que las pacientes ya se hab\u00edan sometido a una terapia previa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n la ha llevado a cabo el equipo de S\u00f2nia Pernas, del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL) en Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, y Eva Ciruelos, vicepresidenta del Grupo SOLTI y coordinadora de la Unidad de C\u00e1ncer de Mama y Tumores Ginecol\u00f3gicos del Hospital 12 de Octubre de Madrid, en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"RichTextAlignCenter citewrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"RichTextAlignCenter\" src=\"https:\/\/noticiasdelaciencia.com\/upload\/images\/01_2022\/5036_cribado-molecular-y-cancer-de-mama.jpg\" alt=\"[Img #65562]\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"imagefooterprint\"><\/div>\n<p>Mamograf\u00eda de un seno, con un tumor canceroso indicado por una flecha. U.S. National Cancer Institute)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En este estudio, en el que han participado 10 hospitales, entre ellos los tres centros del Instituto Catal\u00e1n de Oncolog\u00eda (Hospitalet \/ Badalona y Girona), se analizaban los perfiles moleculares del tumor de cada paciente y, posteriormente, un comit\u00e9 de expertos evaluaba los resultados a fin de identificar la terapia m\u00e1s adecuada para cada una de ellas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El estudio AGATA est\u00e1 impulsado por el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n SOLTI, y es el primer programa de cribado molecular en c\u00e1ncer de mama avanzado creado en Espa\u00f1a. El objetivo del estudio ha sido trabajar en red con hospitales de todo el pa\u00eds para conseguir que las pacientes diagnosticadas con este tipo de tumor tuvieran acceso a una terapia personalizada seg\u00fan el perfil molecular de su tumor, la mayor\u00eda mediante estudios cl\u00ednicos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl estudio AGATA nos ha ayudado a aprender m\u00e1s de la biolog\u00eda tumoral del c\u00e1ncer de mama y ha representado el primer paso para poder romper barreras en lo que se refiere al diagn\u00f3stico molecular\u201d, explica Pernas. \u201dEsto se ha visto reflejado en la puesta en marcha del estudio HOPE (SOLTI-1903) que empodera a las propias pacientes con c\u00e1ncer de mama avanzado que, a trav\u00e9s de una herramienta digital, pueden solicitar el estudio
